Joep Beving is a neo-classical, minimalistic pianist and composer, but to the international advertising community he is mainly known as the face of music agency MassiveMusic. After having worked on numerous national and international commercials over the past ten years, it is time for Beving to let the music speak for himself.
His debut album “Solipsism” was composed and recorded at his home in the still of night. The album is filled with introspective and often filmic piano compositions. Music is stripped to its bare essentials, representing a quest for essence and beauty. Released completely independent, the album took off fast. Beving has close to a million monthly listeners on Spotify, sold out two shows at the Concertgebouw, his music was used for campaigns of Chanel and Versace and he will be the support act for The Cinematic Orchestra in the Rotterdamse Schouwburg. The list only gets longer.
“My music is an experimental in existential communication, a belief in an absolute aesthetic, to prove that a universal and metaphysical reality does exist.” – Joep Beving
